Be on Schedule and maintain Budgets
We provide quoted (fixed cost) service of professional digital document preparation project management for the small to medium General Contractor or Subcontractor participating in major construction projects requiring sophisticated, concise, and complete material submittals for the Military, Federal agencies, or State and Local governments. We provide a 4-phase project management system with CPM scheduling of the submittals to insure timely and accurate submittals to support your construction activities.
Federal contracting requires full compliance to a variety of standards which are documented in the RFP and Construction documents.
We will cooperate with your subs and suppliers to research and provide materials that meet these standards and then annotate them in the submittal documents for easy reference.
If a standard or designated material is contradictory, not available, or very rare – we will notify you so that it can be dealt with in a RFI (request for information) to the Architect or Engineer of Record and the governing agency.
Data Creation,Storage and Size
For easy access, compilation, storage, and retrieval- all files are produced in PDFformat with full accessibility from several standard programs including the (free) Acrobat Reader®. This will also allow use of the hyperlinks to move quickly from the index page(s) to (the associated) one of thousands of pages in the document without having to“skim” through all of the pages. This feature will save hundreds (or thousands) of hoursover the life of the project.
A full government material submittal for all phases of construction may be up to several thousand pages with the equivalent electronic version requiring up to several gigabytes of storage space. We have on line (FTP) data storage and retrieval capability to store all of your data on line in a secure Microsoft environment. This is where you (or any authorized party) can access the data and download to your server, PC, or memory device (CD, DVD, Flash drive, etc.) for review and further processing (printing) if necessary.
